2. General information on data processing

We process our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing is carried out on the basis of the GDPR, in particular Art. 6 GDPR.

This website uses no social media plugins and creates no user profiles beyond the analytics described in Section 7. Analytics tools (Google Analytics) are only used after your explicit consent, see Section 7.

3. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is provided via Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). Vercel uses a global content delivery network and various cloud infrastructure providers, meaning data may also be processed outside your country of residence. When you access the website, the following data is automatically stored in server log files:

• IP address (anonymised)
• Date and time of the request
• URL accessed
• Browser type and operating system
• Referrer URL

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure provision of the website). 4. Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Cormorant Garamond, Jost) are hosted locally on our own server. No connection is made to Google's servers or any other third-party servers, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

5. Contact form

When you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, phone number if provided, message) is stored in order to process your enquiry. The form is technically processed via the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA); entries are stored there and forwarded to us by email. As Formspree is based in the USA, this may involve a transfer of personal data to a third country. No further disclosure to third parties takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing, at the latest after 3 years.

6. WhatsApp

This website contains a link to WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland). WhatsApp/Meta's privacy policy applies when using the link. We have no influence on the data processing carried out there. Information: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea

7. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; in the event of data transfer to the USA: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies that enable analysis of how our website is used (e.g. pages visited, time spent, approximate location, device used). The purpose is to evaluate usage behaviour in order to improve our offering.

We use Google Analytics exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent (opt-in) pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TTDSG. This is technically implemented via Google Consent Mode v2: until you make a choice, all analytics and advertising cookies default to "denied"; only after clicking "Accept" in the cookie banner is data collection for Google Analytics enabled. Without your consent, no analytics cookies are set and no data is transmitted to Google. Google acts as our data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR under a corresponding data processing agreement.

In the event of data transfer to the USA (a third country without a full EU adequacy decision covering all data categories), Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where certified. IP addresses are shortened by Google Analytics 4 by default and are not stored in full (IP anonymisation).

The retention period for user- and event-level data collected by Google Analytics in our account is limited to the default setting of 14 months, after which the data is automatically deleted. Aggregated, non-personal reporting data may be retained beyond this period for statistical purposes.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: click the button below to reopen your cookie settings and select "Reject" there. Alternatively, you can clear this site's stored website data (localStorage) in your browser, or contact us at info@veridian-automotive.com. 8. Email contact

When you contact us by email, the data transmitted is stored in order to process your enquiry and is not passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9. Your rights under Art. 15–21 GDPR

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent (e.g. Google Analytics), you also have the right to withdraw that consent under Art. 7(3) GDPR.
